We got 4 designs of huaraches shoes, which are traditional Mexican style sandals/ shoes. These are made of fine cow leather, traditionally tanned and manually made using archaic tools and ancestral techniques. We work directly with a cooperative of artisans from Chiapas, Mexico that puts great care and love in the making of these shoes. They got a quality rubber sole with a good grip.
Huarache will mold by use- they stretch. So, we recommend ordering one size down to your regular size.
To keep the leather looking fresh remove built-up dirt by wiping it down with a cloth (use a soft cloth or soft-bristled brush)
If your shoes require deeper cleaning, wiping them down with soap or with leather cleaner
Dry huaraches thoroughly using natural light but not under direct sunlight, in order to avoid cracking of the leather
Contact with water can sometimes result in spots or discoloration. If this is your case, use a 1:1 ratio of white vinegar and water and gently dab onto the discolored area.
Apply baking soda to leather sandals to absorbs odor; leave this inside the shoes overnight and completely remove it before wearing them again
