Handmade by the women of the Wayuu indigenous community of northern Colombia these traditional Wayuu bags are made with great care. The crochet pattern on this bag is woven using a double thread which was made in a manual loom. Each design on every bag is entirely unique to its weaver, which makes each bag an original piece! Plus, a story is woven into the designs, which is told through the bag’s colors, patterns and shapes that the individual artist has created.
